Inez G. Crow of Ravenswood died August 4, 2015, at home surrounded by her family.

Inez was a lifelong member of the Silverton United Methodist Church and held many church offices. She was a retired Ravenswood business woman. She and her husband, Everett, owned and operated retailing and building contracting businesses during their lifetime together. They, along with many other Ravenswood business owners, supported the rapid growth of Ravenswood as the community grew from an agricultural based community to a business oriented community in the 1950’s. After her retirement, she had another long career providing loving care for her many grandchildren.

She was an American Patriot loving God and country. She supported the World War II effort locally and traveled by train to and from Camp Shelby in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, with their young son in support of her husband Everett as he trained at Camp Shelby prior to his deployment to the European war effort. She always talked with great pride of those days.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett L. Crow, Sr., her parents, Otmer Wade Salser and Mayme Rector Salser; four brothers, James, Duane, Paul and Ralph Salser; and one sister, Maxine Salser Dewitt; one granddaughter, Kristy Crow, one grandson, John David Caldwell, and one great-great granddaughter, Ashley Staats.

Survivors include two sons, Everett L. Crow II, David W. Crow (wife Carol), and three daughters, Mary V. Crow Caldwell (Husband C.W.), Ruth A Crow Garrett, and Georgie E. Crow Boso; sisters, Phyllis Salser Palmer, Ruth Salser Thompson (John), Eileen Salser Weekley (Dennis) of Ravenswood, and Betty Salser Shockey (Junior) of Fairborn, Ohio; and brothers, Harold Salser and Robert Salser of Fairborn, Ohio. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

The family is so proud of their Mother and all the guidance, love, and care she provided during her life, and for all the sacrifices she made for her family. She instilled a strong work ethic in her family through her own actions and the guidance she provided.

The entire family especially thanks and recognizes her daughter, Georgie, for the special and dedicated care she provided in her home during the last difficult years of her life. Her family thanks her many relatives and many, many friends for all their support.

Services will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015, at 3:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, WV, with Pastor Chris Skeens officiating. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery next to her loving husband, Everett.

Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Friday, August 7, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.

Condolences may be expressed to the family at roush94@yahoo.com or on the Roush Funeral Home Facebook Page.
